High Rock Farm is a family owned registered Brangus Breeder located in Horton, AL., owned and operated by David & Christa Walker and their two daughters, Kayla & Kelsey. We are committed to raising consistently healthy, reliable and high quality animals. We are also committed to being good stewards of the land. We maintain a grass-fed operation using organic fertilizer and a pasture rotation schedule. High Rock Farm is very selective in breeding and chooses only the best genetics within the Brangus breed through our AI and embryo program.

David & Christa were both raised on family farms in the communities of Rock Springs and High Point. High Rock Farm sits in the middle of these two home communities. The name “High Rock” was a blend of both the community names as well as a favorite scripture: From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I. Psalm 61:2. Our principles are rooted in God, Family and Hard Work. David & Christa began their cattle journey with a small commercial cattle operation then growing it into a 200 head cow/calf herd. In 2010, High Rock Farm was blessed to purchase its first registered Brangus female. Experiencing first hand the phenomenal quality of this breed, we quickly decided this was the direction we wanted to take our farm and we began building our Brangus herd. We patiently await each birth on our farm and consider each birth a special event. We love watching our babies grow into superior breed builders. High Rock Farm feels we have developed a high quality herd. We feel very blessed to be able to continue to grow and we look forward to future progress.
